Rescue Remedy on Dr Oz
Rescue Remedy was just featured on the Dr Oz show as one his Favorites! Please note, the correct dose of Rescue is 4 drops or 2 sprays (not 4 sprays).

Remember, if you feel stressed over and over and keep using Rescue, you probably should look at the single remedies in the Bach system to address the underlying causes of your stress. What triggers you to get stressed? Tale the Bach Quiz.

Antidepressants....More Harm Than Good?
A new article by PhysOrg (http://medicalxpress.com/news/2012-04-evidence-anti-depressants-good.html) shows that antidepressants may be doing more harm than good. Researchers found that since serotonin is involved in so many bodily functions, SSRI drugs, which increase serotonin levels in the brain, are actually putting many normal bodily functions out of balance. In fact, only 5% of the body's serotonin is found in the brain; 90% of the body's serotonin is NOT in the brain, but in the gut itself. Serotonin performs a vital role in many bodily functions. The researchers conclude that 'benefits of antidepressants are generally outweighed by their costs'.
The study also brings to light other previous studies and commentary on the efficacy of SSRI's, including a statement on the TV show 60 Minutes, made by a US FDA representative that the symptom reducing effect of antidepressants relative to placebo is “rather small” (Bonin, 2012).
The research study itself may be found at Frontiers in Evolutionary Psychology: http://www.frontiersin.org/Evolutionary_Psychology/10.3389/fpsyg.2012.00117/full
For those of us working with complementary healing modalities, including the Bach flower remedies, this study further proves that, as Dr Edward Bach stated, we should 'treat the person, not the disease.' Humans are so more than a mechanistic compilation of chemicals and parts. We are spirits dwelling in physical bodies. The true disharmony lies in the conflict between the personality and the Soul, which often manifests under the term 'stress'. The answer lies not in a batch of chemicals, but in the restoration of balance, which allows the inner divinity of each individual to shine through.

This is a very important time! Just as I posted this video, we received another solar flare, an X.5 flare, which is quite large. This latest flare will reach us right at the time of the full moon in Pisces. Please take time to transmute this energy by linking up with others in prayer from your own home. Walking a delicate balance
Where do we find the balance point between practicing love and remaining aware? This question is not existential, but rather quite pragmatic. As spiritual beings, we aim to see the positive and spread love, joy and light. Yet, as spiritual beings in physical bodies, we must integrate all of our faculties - body, heart, mind and spirit. This means we must also THINK and use discrimination in our conduct and speech.
Hence, the conundrum. To remain spiritual, we have to PRACTICE spirituality. There are two parts to this practice - the inner and the outer. First, we can each adopt our own method to find inner harmony - be it meditation, prayer, qi gong, Bach flowers, contemplation, etc.
Second, we have a duty to bring our spiritual awareness to the practical world - to serve.
Yes, we can radiate our good vibes. Still, we must remain vigilant and abreast of current trends in our society and speak out against unfairness, injustice, toxins in our food and water, loss of freedoms, and more. To that end, I have started a YouTube channel www.youtube.com/user/LivingEnrichment
When we become aware of the many injustices in the world, there is a strong pull to go into fear or anger or to hide! At that very moment, we must regain our center and venture out from a point of LOVE as we take an action step to help make this world a better place. This is not such an easy task. "For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few."
In fact, this can be such a daunting task that many of us turn off the news, and want to hide from this jarring, physical world. But the fact is that the world needs us. It needs us to resonate positive energy. It needs us to pray. It also needs us to think, to speak and to act.
So, ever so gently, find your center - and shine your light in the world. There is so much darkness, but the amazing thing is that wherever a light shines, even a tiny light, darkness disappears. Start with one tiny step, maintain your balance and remember - Darkness itself cannot cover light!
